How to quickly lower blood pressure?

Depends on what you define as “quickly”

You want to knock your high blood pressure down within 1 hour?
This may be somewhat challenging, although not entirely impossible.

Here’s the good news: if your blood pressure is not dangerously high, just elevated (see what normal blood pressure level is), you can quickly lower your blood pressure, in the matter of days, with few simple steps:

  • exercise

Below I want to just briefly touch base on the herbs that you will need along with foods and exercise.

So... what are those herbs?

  • Garlic – go for High Potency Garlic, follow dosages recommended on the label

  • Hawthorn - capsules or extract, start with 2 capsules (about 400 mg each) twice a day

Foods that lower blood pressure

Some sources mention dark chocolate can help lower blood pressure, but again, do not expect miracles. You can expect to stabilize your blood pressure within days if you immediately take all necessary steps: herbs, diet, hydration, moderate exercise. Here you will find foods that lower blood pressure

Exercise and blood pressure

Many sources recommend exercising to lower blood pressure.

Word of caution: start with moderate exercise. Avoid overexertion.
Just a walk to begin with, if you did not exercise before. Walk is good and it will relax you, too.

Be careful with your sexual activity!
Sexual intercourse is good in many aspects, but can be dangerous for the overly hypertensive patient.

Bottom line

Now, if your blood pressure has jumped to a dangerously high level, please do not attempt to quickly lower blood pressure on your own! Go to ER!
