Your Cholesterol Action Plan.
Natural Cholesterol Remedies in Action!

Your Cholesterol Action Plan

Ok, you have already visited our "cholesterol pages" and educated yourself all you could.

(If you haven't yet, here is your starting point: natural remedies for high cholesterol page).

Perhaps you are a little bit confused, as you are attempting to answer this question:
- So, what do I do next?

Your Cholesterol Action Plan must be based on the following 3 pillars:

1) Your diet must be your weapon
(against the cholesterol, that is)
It is good to start by eliminating all the killer foods.
This page: cholesterol foods to avoid is a good, concise reference for you.

And really, all you need is a reference. You do not need revolution.

As you quickly achieve your goal (which you will) to get rid of the killers on your menu,it is time to place more emphasis on foods that you need more than ordinary (cholesterol free) people.

Now, remember these 2 Healthy F-words:

Fiber
The more the better. And...
Fish.
And don't be afraid of fat fish!
These 2 F-words are, from now on, important components of your Cholesterol Action Plan!

2) You must find time to exercise daily!
Ok, ok, I know you've got no time. Let me share this with you:
Exercising 20 minutes a day fits my schedule much better that being dead 24 hrs a day.
How about yours?

Do not go overboard, start small, and work your way up as you go along. Walk, swim, bike, do something physical.
This is the second pillar of your Cholesterol Action Plan.

3) Herbs and Supplements

On my other pages I already covered this subject. But perhaps you are still not sure where to start, what to choose and where to get it.

The following herbs/supplements I recommend to be taken as a program. Let me repeat here that a single herb in whatever form (capsules, tinctures etc) - will likely not be enough to solve your problem.

SIDE BAR: The links below will take you to my Herbal Shoppe pages. There you'll be able to do some more reading. Also, you will be given ordering information. All links open in new window.

a) Super Oil - this is a trade name of a supplement. It is a combination of oils: fish, flax, lecithin, evening primrose oil. The benefit here is all the omegas (3-6-9) blended at proper ratio (2:1:1).
Why not take a closer look at this unique supplement and do some more reading: Super Oil (Canada) also see Super GLA Oil (USA

This supplement is also more affordable than Super Omega 3, which my brother used a lot, and which I certainly recommend as well. Choose either one. Take 6 capsules per day in divided doses.

Lear more about Super Omega 3 (Canada) and don't miss Super GLA Oil (USA)

b) Cholester Reg II - is another tradename. But this is strictly a herbal combination, albeit quite advanced one. It is based on artichoke leaves, plant derived inositol, resveratrol (from Hu Zhang herb), policosanol (from sugar cane) and phytosterols (from soybeans).

The manufacturer (Nature's Sunshine) claims that Cholester II helps the body maintain cholesterol levels already in the normal range. This is certainly true, but I find this preparation works great in almost every case (ask my brother).

You need a minimum of 3 capsules daily in divided doses, However, it is OK to begin with 6 capsules daily and then gradually reduce to 3 caps.

Read some more and take a look at: Cholester Reg II (Canada) AND Cholester Reg II (USA)

c) Loclo - name of a top notch quality and efficiency fiber combination, which I always recommend in all cases of high blood cholesterol (and high blood sugar, too). This special blend of dietary fiber binds excess bile acids and dietary cholesterol.
Put 1 level tablespoon of the supplement in (8 ounces) 250 mL (8 ounces) of cold water. Shake or stir vigorously and drink immediately. Do this twice daily.
Special note: if you are fighting cholesterol you must have an extra fiber in your diet. Period.

Learn more about Loclo and dietary fiber: Loclo (Canada) and: Loclo (USA)

d) Green Tea Extract- dry green tea extract standardized (80% poly-phenols) without caffeine. 3 capsules of the extract are the equivalent of about 10 cups of liquid green tea. Take 3 capsules daily in divided doses.

PLEASE, do not drink liquid green tea. You do not need all that caffeine (remember?)

Read and learn about decaffeinated Green Tea dry extract, click:
Green Tea Extract (Canada) and: Green Tea Extract (USA)

Follow your Cholesterol Action Plan and you before you even notice, your cholesterol will stabilize.

You should expect to be back in the healthy range within 10 - 12 weeks.(this page shall be further expanded and updated, please check back soon)
